Robert has advised the Korean government on major energy projects and previously served as a Director at KEPCO Management. Robert has advised organizations such as the Korea Renewable Energy Association and the Korea Atomic Industrial Forum. His efforts include facilitating joint ventures with UK and Korean business looking to work together in the EMEA region with particular focus on industrial and manufacturing businesses.

Robert is a local councillor for New Malden, home to Europe’s largest Korean community. His decades of service have significantly benefited the local community, supporting individuals and businesses alike. He is also dedicated to fostering UK-Korean relations, serving as Honorary Ambassador for Gangdong-gu in Seoul and Seosan city, and in 2024, was named Global Ambassador of Kimchi to promote Korean culture globally.

Robert was part of the founding team for the Korea Town Foundation, which promotes sustainable development and bilateral partnerships. A licensed solicitor and immigration adviser, he holds law degrees from both Korea and the UK, which underpin his expertise in cross-border legal matters. He is also an Honorary Editor of Energy Economy News, Executive member of the British Korean Society, and a trustee of cultural organizations.
