Energy Transition and Nuclear Energy (Nov 2023)

Castletown Law

Nuclear energy is one of the low-carbon energy sources that can play a significant role in the energy transition. It provides a reliable source of electricity without emitting greenhouse gases, making it an attractive option for reducing the carbon footprint.

We are proud to present our short animation detailing a strategic roadmap for achieving a sustainable, low carbon future in manufacturing and production by 2050. Onshore wind, solar, energy storage, offshore wind, hydro and advanced nuclear technology all have a part to play, and if all goes to plan, the manufacturing sector will rely on carbon neutral energy by 2040.

If you would like to discuss any of this in more detail, or would like to chat with one of our nuclear experts about how we could help you, please get in touch: Andrew.Renton@castletownlaw.com, Simon.Stuttaford@castletownlaw.com, Maroof.Mittha@castletownlaw.com.
